This especially applies to the monitoring of testing devices, equipment and systems, as well as important lines (cable, pipe). There are two ways to affix the inspection stickers: directly onto the inspected equipment or onto one of the basic stickers provided, which are affixed to the equipment. The date of inspection is documented with a writing instrument or punch pliers. The inspection stickers consist of tamper-proof document foil, i.e. to prevent misuse, the sticker is irrevocably destroyed when an attempt is made to remove it. Document foil properties: The document foil can be marked using pencil, pen, felt pen or typewriter. It is 0.05 mm thick and temperature- resistant from –30 °C to +80 °C. The adhesive strength is greater than the tear strength of the foil. The foil breaks when removed and is largely resistant to ageing, weather and light. Basic stickers The self-adhesive basic sticker consists of white, write-on plastic foil, to which stickers can repeatedly be applied. It adheres well to a clean surface and is destroyed when removed.
