Strip conductor to required insertion length (+10% due to length change of the crimp sleeve). 2. The conductor ends must be mechanically cleaned prior to installation. 3. Insert the conductor into the cable lug or connector to the full insertion length. 4. While minding the crimp direction, crimp the cable lug or connector with the assigned tool. Please use the adjacent drawing to determine the crimping direction for the cable lugs. According to DIN VDE 0220 part 2 screws of strength class 8.8 are tightened with the following torques: 1.2.
