After defining the blade spacing by precisely setting the locator to the wall thickness of the cable, the depth at which the blade can penetrate the cable sheath is limited. This significantly speeds up insulation stripping on type of cable which appear frequently. By adjusting the locator, the blade spacing on the Allrounder sheath stripper can be precisely set between 4.0 to 11.9 mm. The locator box can easily be stored in the tool handle and equipped with an Allen key as an accessory. The different colours of the locators provide the option to reserve set locators for selected types of cable which appear frequently.
