Suitable for working with plastic and metal as well as stainless steel, between 5 and 6 threads per step, drive via hexagonal shaft (e.g. via ring, open-end or socket wrench). Approximately 85% of all screwed cable glands are covered with the M 12 - M 32 drill (CIMCO article no. 20 1240), approximately 90% of all screwed cable glands are covered with both of the other drills. Compared to many single thread taps, the step thread taps offer a cost saving of up to 25%.
