Thanks to its thermoplastic properties, soft PVC can be processed both by injection moulding and extrusion. Depending on the formula of the blend, its consistency can be from semi-hard to rubber-like. Soft PVC is distinguished by the following features: ● Resistant to heat up to +90 °C short-term, up to +70/75 °C long-term ● Resistant to cold down to -25 °C to -30 °C ● Resistant to water, ozone, weathering, diluted acids, alkalis and salts ● Very good resistance to ageing ● Medium resistance to: aromas, ketones, mineral oil, petrol, esters (swelling) ● Very good electrical insulating properties ● Large range of colours, lightfast settings ● Glass clear or coloured-transparent possible The mouldings have a perfect surface and are dimensionally precise.
